Consumption of Heritage examines contemporary fashion systems through Korean textile traditions such as Hansan Mosi and Hanji. Responding to industrialized mass production and the displacement of localized craft practices, the project explores clothing not simply as a consumable object, but as a structure shaped by material, labor, and cultural memory. Constructed through layering and structural experimentation, the garments investigate tensions between fragility and durability, wearability and disposability, tradition and contemporary life. Rather than treating craft as fixed heritage, the work repositions Korean textile practices as living systems continuously transformed through social, cultural, and material conditions.
