‘Cut Out Legacy: Like grass growing through cracks’Through Dutch and Korean paper cuttings craft emerging from concrete blocks, LEESUN visualizes the struggle of fragile traditions against the rigid forces of modernization. The sculptures express the resilience of craft as it persists, like grass growing through cracks, even as it is pushed to the margins of history. Viewers are invited to reflect on craft as an evolving dialogue between not only cultures but also what is seen and what is remembered, embodying both the beauty and impermanence of tradition.
